It has been so long! I have been VERY BUSY this quarter. This is my last full quarter till I graduate next quarter. Next quarter is going to be very refreshing and hopefully a great productive one too.This is for a charity show that the SCAD Illustration Department is hosting this month. 60% of the proceeds go to the Savannah Humane Society. Mine was chosen to be a poster and included in a calendar! I am very excited and hope we raise a good amount of money for the Humane Society!! This piece was done with watercolors on Arches 140lb cold press paper.

I am hoping to bring you more pieces by the end of next week! If finals doesn't kill me!!! : )

Advertising Illustration

Here it is! My first project of the quarter : )

It was for my Advertising Illustration class. The assignment was to take an existing wine label and change it or make a knew one for the company. I chose HRM Rex Goliath 47Lb Rooster brand. I painted it with watercolors and my friend, Kristen, who is an AWESOME Graphic Designer, helped me with the text. Well, she did all the text, but I learned a lot from her. I hope you enjoy!

New Work

Hi y'all.

This is a piece that I did for myself to see if I still enjoy pencil work, by golly... I do. Took me a few days to accomplish, but it was very soothing. I am excited for my classes this quarter. This will be my last quarter with all studios... so I have to work hard and aim high! Till then! Gabatte!

Hello everyone!

Winter Quarter at SCAD starts today. I have Advertising Illustration, Illustrative Practices to Concept Design, and Portfolio class. It is going to be a busy quarter, but I hope to produce a decent portfolio and a few personal pieces. Just wanted to let everyone know I was at home for the holidays with out a big scanner, so no scanning, and I forgot my camera in my dorm room.

So here is to a New Year! and a great school year : )

Assignment 4

This is my 4th Assignment for Electronic Illustration Class. It was Direct (or speed) painting. I REALLY enjoy this technique and plan to work on it during the winter break. It is relazxing to do but interesting at the same time. I really hope to use it more in my own illustrations and in the future.

little break

A 40 minute speed pain. I really enjoy this direct painting technique.. it is actually very relaxing. Some thing I need at the moment. Still going through finals, but I just think a week from tomorrow I will be home with my family and friends : ) Very excited!!
